Hey ya'll sorry Ive been M.I.A. my life has been so crazy the past couple weeks. I just want to say a few things

The past few weeks events have really opened my eyes to a lot of things and I want to share some advice with you.

Dont take anything for granted. Ive let my pride get in the way of showing the people I love how much I care and appreciate them. You never know when your time is gonna come or when you will lose them so let them know everyday.
**Easier said than done..yes but trust it will be worth it**

If someone needs you to be there for them.. BE THERE. Dont give up on someone just because you think you cant handle it. The reward will be priceless

Stay positive. Its hard even if you have alot going on. but positivity will get you thru it. Dont focus on the bad look at the good. Good always outweighs the bad.

Even when you feel like everything has gone down...Keep your head up. Stay positive. Put on a smile even if you have to fake it and you will get thru it.

Dont give up because nothing's impossible

OK so I haven't really done anything music-wise lately. No recording...Not alot of writing...Nothin really. I know I'm slipping and Im just being lazy but I have not been motivated at all.

I feel like I'm in a messed up situation that nobody cares about. No one sees my side of things. But thats fine cuz I'm not going to explain it anymore. (Dont assume you know what or who im talking about because you probably dont know) Im not calling anyone out Im just giving my explanation for why I havent done anything and Im not making excuses. There is no good excuse for why I havent done anything and I admit that.

So from now on. Im not gonna care about the next person. Im not gonna try to explain myself. Im just gonna do me make my music and give the fans what they been buggin me about..lol (still love ya'll) I will have some videos up soon so if you have any requests let me know. (and no E*Klipse im not gonna do "jizzed in my pants" lmao)

Will have the promo disc done soon! Still trying to figure out what is going to be on it. Got some songs I need to finish writing and get done. Got some stuff in the works for Tre and T*Starz. So im getting back on it and working around my school/work to get it done!

Here are the 3 that can apply to today :)
These are going for mostly musicians who get too ahead of themselves in the industry

#1- Its all about attitude- Be positive humble and confident....not arrogant, conceided, or negative towards other trying to reach the same goal as you.

#2- Work hard for YOUR success- Work towards achieving your goals on YOUR own. Dont count on everyone else and jump on everyone else team just to get on their level.

#3- Dont forget where you came from and remember the ppl who supported your ass from the beginning. Dont smile in someone face and be like ahh your great then turn around and talk shit about them to someone else (that ones for you situation Ms Proper!!)

There are some people who act a certain way and say certain things they have no business doing/saying. They feel they can talk to you however that want and do whatever they want..

Well you guys need a reality check. You are NOT on a level to act that way...You are NOT signed. and you aint even that well-known.. Soooo why is it you think your on top of the world??

Me personally.... people know me, I get alot of plays, and have alot of fans supporting buuuuut
I dont act like a jackass..

Some people just have no humbleness in them at all..

Why is that?

Uhhh had a week off from school..ended with 2 A's in 1 B. (wooowhoooo) Now its back to it tonight. This schedule is def worse than the last but ill get thru it. It is only 5 weeks!

Ok had my school orientation last night....and OMG is all im gonna say...where do they find these people!!! lmao Nah but forreal it wont be that bad! I only have 3 classes

So from 3/30-5/3 my schedule will be

Mon & Wed- Anatomy and Physiology I 5:30 pm-10:30 pm
Tues & Thurs- Nursing Math 5:30 pm-9:15 pm
Sat- Orientation 8:30 am-4:30 pm <----- (ahhhhhh)

Well I wont be doing the show next month now :( Sad but oh well...I was practicing and had it ready too. But I have other things I have to take care of. Gotta take care of my home and pay the bills first so unfortunately I'll just have to miss out on this one.

Wrote a song last night. Prolly gonna call it Take Ya Man and the one and only M S Dot to the P gonna be on it (if you dont know who that is your slow!!!) I finished my verse and prolly record it next weekend sometime. Also got a song I just did called Put Ya Hands Up. She on that one too. Joint hot! They both more up tempo tracks! Got one joint I wrote awhile ago called Unfaithful....Thats def going on my album cuz I love that joint! Its crazy!

I think for one of my first remixes Im gonna do a Day 26 song. I aint telling which one cuz you might try to steal my idea...lol I dont know what else I wanna do yet but I'll find some other stuff!!

No Where Close

SOOOO I been thinking so much about my future lately and where I wanna be. Annnnddd Im no where close...

I have so much I want to accomplish but it's so hard because I have other priorities right now. I have to pay bills and music money aint doing it right now. I have to go to school to have a back up plan, even though I have dreams and goals, because nothing is ever guaranteed. Therefore I am going to have to limit myself right now. I write new stuff all the time but Im still searching for that one song that one sound that will make me be like YESSSSSSSSSSSS

I wanna do more shows but it's like VA is not poppin right now and when there are shows I have other obligations to take care. I cant travel b/c work gets in the way (Whether its me or Shantale working). It's something I really want to do but I also live in the real world and have other priorities that alot of other artists dont have so they dont understand it. I do what I can though.

I work on so much stuff that people dont even know about (including Prop) Nothing on no dirty stuff. Im just always looking for different opportunities for us and different things we can do to expand our fan base. Dont get me wrong I have a fan base just no where close to what I wanna have. I wanna walk in Wal-mart and have people like "hey arent you that singer on myspace with the track.. so and so (Had a chick recognize me before it was greattt) lol

It just makes me mad that the whackest artists get the most love. They are the ones with the most shows and the most fans...wtf?? No names mentioned but every chick I have heard that raps or sings SUCKS. Maybe 1 or 2 ok ones...but for the most part nobody is touching Me and Ms Proper...lol And people be hyping them up like there is no tomorrow! You folks need a lesson in music....everybody is not superstar potential..lol I know I have alot more work to do with myself but thats for my own personal achievement..I dont care what anyone else thinks...I think Im hot...Random People think Im hot...Ms Proper's a groupie.... so Im straight lol..

Lesson here: I have alot of work to do before Im where I want to be so Im going to continue to work my tail off so that 2-5 years from now music is ALL im doing!!

I just wanted to say thanks for all the people that showed my love on "Oh No". I have gotten very good feedback on it! (texts, myspace messages, comments) Even people I havent talked to in forever hit me up..(HMMMMM).

Which brings me to my next point!

I know theres still alot of people sleeping on me, (and hating) but dont be a hater b*&^% one minute then a groupie the next. You either like me or you dont! Personally imma still do me and still be the s&*$ regardless but thanks for taking time out to pay attention :)

I got like 360 plays in one day! I think its in the 400s now. And im like wooooow. I was promoting my butt off yesterday. Still doing it today! I appreciate the fans I have that messaged me or emailed me right away without me even having to tell them the track was up! I also appreciate the new fans I have gotten. Makes me wanna work 10 times harder to drop music even though imma be in school. Its my passion and my dream so I will find a way to make it work. If I only get 30 mins of sleep a night then thats what Im gonna have to do! It will pay off in the end!

Prop and I were having a conversation yesterday about how artists are. Some of them are so lazy but have so much talent but dont work for what they wany. They just want everything to come easy! It doesnt happen that way. We understand we have a long way to go but we working for it. Hell if im not writing something for myself Im writing for someone else. They also dont promote. They just want to do whatever but you cant do that to get noticed! You got to work with what ya have first! It seems that me and her are the only ones on the same page when it comes to music. We know what we have to do on the business side the music side the promoting side and everything but its like no one else gets it!

Going thru some s*** (at work) and it dont look like anybody is gonna do nothing bout it... f****ed up but life must go on I guess....

Me and Prop gonna start a diet and exercise plan this week. Gonna be intense but we need to get our sexy on so we dont look like 2 pregnant chics trynna perform...lmao jk...It aint that bad.

Ahhhh school starts 2 weeks from yesterday....Im ready to just get it over with b/c Im having a hard time focusing on ANYTHING. Its starting to frustrate me...But its only 12 months (well 14 including breaks) of my life so I'll just suck it up, make good grades, get a higher paying job, and move my ass to ATL to do music.

I did a track with my sis...Ish is hot....It's called "Mind Games" written by yours truly! It was supposed to be a song for just her but she wanted to me do the 2nd verse! Just need to get her to practice it and get comfortable on the mic so she can re-record it. She wants me to write some more stuff for her so when I get some time I'll work with her and keep her on her A-game!

Decisions Decision

I been thinking alot about my upcoming project and singles and I dont know how I want to do this yet. Im about to start nursing school at the end of the month and between that and work its gonna take up my life for the next year! Dont get me wrong I will still be working on music (recording photoshoot working on project etc) I just dont know how I want to release stuff.. I really wanna drop this EP cuz its gonna be HOT!! buuuut I know I wont get to promote it and do shows like I want. I really wanna drop "Oh No" but I also want to perform it and by the time I get the chance to do that the song will be old! lol So basically I dont want to drop all this hot ish and not be able to do nothing with it!

I need to come up with a solution where it dont look like I died off but not give it all away since I wont be promoting like I want. Dont get it twisted I will still be on my grind with music as much as I can. And I will still be recording writing and all that other good stuff. But schools something I need to finish. My great grandma always told me I always need a backup plan to go by. So music is my first love and my main dream/goal but nursing will be my backup so Im getting that out the way first! And on the bright side it will only take me 12 months to finish woowhoo!! Then it's music all day everyday :)

Im back to work...I'll try to get my second photoshoot in sometime this week. Back on my grind recording. This weekend didnt go so well with that b/c I had other things on my mind but Im good now so this weekend I will be getting it in. Gotta get as much done as possible these next couple weeks b/c come March 30th nursing school will be taking up my life. So Im trying to knock out alot of stuff before then so I dont have to worry about as much.

Why Am I At Work?

Alright you guys...so a little update for you..

Havent been on here to post anything in a couple days. I found out yesterday that my grandma passed on Wednesday. At first I was shocked b/c it was so unexpected. Now its kinda sinking in and it's getting to me and her funeral isnt until this coming Monday.
She wasn't the....easiest....woman to be around but its still very sad cuz she was still my grandma. Hearing the news of her passing made me think about when my great-grandma died (4 years ago this coming June 19th). I was so tore up by it. Me and my great grandma were so close and at least I got to tell her bye. The last time I talked to my grandma was about a week ago and my thought getting off the phone with her was "God that woman is so worsem."
Makes me want to rethink my thoughts about my mom. We are close but still far away from each other (on a personal side). It makes me want to have a better relationship with her cuz if she passes I dont know what I'll do with myself.

Ok this shit is getting depressing so on to a more positive note

Photoshoot went well. There will be a part 2 coming up. (Apparently part 1 is too "frisky" to put out there by itself) So look for both sets in the next week or two. New single will be leaked in the next few days so make sure you look out for that!
